Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Hello Living Water Church,
Today, Friday, May 14, 2021, Governor Polis lifted the mask mandate for the State of Colorado. As such, we will no longer require you or your children to wear a mask at LWC. The government would like you to still wear a mask if you have not been vaccinated. We will leave that decision up to each individual and family. Thank you for enduring this season with us. We look forward to worshipping with you on Sunday.

Hello Living Water Church Family –
After considerable prayer and discussion, the pastors have reached the hard decision to close down the church building for two weeks due to a rise in Covid-19 exposure and cases among members including the pastoral staff. We will offer services online on Sunday, January 3, 2021 starting at 8:30 am and again on Sunday, January 10, 2021.
In shutting down the building, we will also cancel or go online for all small groups. Please check with your group leader or a pastor about the details. Zoom prayer will continue online at noon on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays from 12-12:40. However, this week it will be only on Tuesday and Wednesday due to the New Year holiday. Additionally, we are cancelling the New Year’s Eve prayer service and Men’s and Women’s Breakfasts for the next two Saturdays.
During this past summer when we reopened, we made the commitment to shut down again only if the situation warranted such a drastic action. Unfortunately, we have reached that point. More specifically, Ken is still recovering. Pastors Tim and Lisa and Jorge and Melanie have all been exposed and two of them have symptoms. So, if we did have church this Sunday, it is probable that Amy would be the only pastor there. This decision comes with heavy hearts but for the safety of everyone, it is necessary. Please join us online or on Facebook live this Sunday. Pastor Amy will be speaking and providing a message of hope.
We want to thank you for praying for Pastor Ken. He is doing better but still needs prayer. Please pray for the entire church during this difficult season. We appreciate your support.
We love you and will miss you.

Hello LWC –
Here are several updates. As you are probably aware, the Colorado Department of Health has moved Arapahoe County to level orange status. Several people have inquired how this affects LWC. The answer is that we are already operating under the level orange restrictions so the change doesn’t have an impact.
Please remember that Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes are due this Sunday, November 15. If you are able, please include $9 for shipping for each box, and make the check pa able to Samaritan’s Purse.
Finally, during this difficult season, we encourage you to reach out to others. One of the best ways to combat discouragement and anxiety is to take your focus off of your own issues and look for ways to serve others. The Bible says, “Be generous, and you will be prosperous. Help others, and you will be helped.” Proverbs 11:25 GNT
We love you all,
The LWC Pastoral Staff

Hello LWC –
We love seeing many of you on Sunday mornings and throughout the week. For those of you not yet joining us in-person, we hope you are watching the services on-line. We pray and hope you can join us in-person very soon. We miss you! We are following the government’s guidelines for churches, and we sanitize the church after each service or event to keep everyone safe. We continue to have some glitches with the live-stream, but we are working hard to have it fixed very soon. Here are some updates.
This Sunday, November 1, after second service, from 12-1:30pm, we are meeting at the field to the west of the Aurora Municipal Center for a time of worship and prayer. This is near Alameda and Chambers. Our desire is to worship the Lord together and pray for our city and nation.
Women’s Breakfast is restarting in November! Lyla Nichols will lead this and do a Bible Study on Ephesians. We will be meeting the 2nd Saturday of each month from 9-10:30 am. Due to Covid restrictions, childcare will not be provided. Additionally, it will not be a potluck and hot and cold drinks will not be available. If desired, please bring your own breakfast and drink. We hope to see you on Saturday, November 14. If you are unable to come, but would like to join in via Zoom, please email Pastor Amy at amy@LWCweb.org and we will set up a Zoom link.
Due to the coming elections and national tensions, Pastor Ken has called a church-wide fast next Tuesday, November 3. Please join us in fasting and prayer for God’s direction, for the nation to repent and turn to Jesus, and for healing in our land.
The Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes are due on Sunday, November 15. Consider participating in this outstanding Christmas outreach to the world. If you need more information or if you need a shoe box, contact us at urban@LWCweb.org.
Thank you for honoring and appreciating us last week for Pastor’s Appreciation month. We felt loved. It is a joy to be your pastors.
Our eldership team continues to pray for each and every one of you every day.
Your LWC Pastoral Team.

Hello LWC Family –
Here are a few updates. Starting this Sunday, we will begin live-streaming the Sunday morning services. You can watch the service live at 8:30am or watch a recorded version of it any time after the first service ends. To watch it, visit the LWC website (LWCweb.org) or our YouTube Channel (LWCAurora). Please be patient with us in that this is a new endeavor. It may be a little rough at first, but as with everything, we will get better at it with time. We still need volunteers to help with this production. If you would be willing to help, please contact Pastor Tim at TimWright@LWCweb.org.
Secondly, please consider signing up to volunteer for our Free Flu Shot Clinic on Saturday, Oct 3, 2020 from 9am –1:15 pm. You can sign up via our website or in person at church. Also, please invite people to come with you to LWC to get a free flu shot. Everyone is welcome.
Each Friday evening, we take food to the ER Staff at the Medical Center of Aurora. There are still dates available that need coverage. Contact Pastor Lisa at lisa@LWCweb.org to volunteer.
We are so grateful for each and every one of you,
The LWC Pastoral Team

Hello LWC Family,
We wanted to give you a few updates. First, this Sunday we will be taking communion together. If you attend in–person services, we will provide the communion elements in a safe manner. If you are watching online, please gather your own items and take communion with us.
As you are aware, we take food each Friday evening to the ER Staff at the Medical Center of Aurora. We need volunteers to sign up for dates in October-December. Due to Covid concerns, we encourage you to take carry-out pizza or other pre-packaged or restaurant food. If you would be willing to help with this ministry, contact Pastor Lisa at lisa@lwcweb.org.
We are happy to announce that this Sunday, September 13, we will restart our Sunday School Program! However, it will be more of a Children’s Church type format. As you enter the building, parents will “check in” their children and print name tags, as happened before Covid. Children will then go directly to their class for the entire one hour service. There will be a nursery class for kids 2 years old and younger. They will not be required to wear masks. There will be two classes for children 3 years old – 5th grade. These children will be required to wear masks. Our purpose is to keep children safe and healthy while still providing a God-centered, Spirit-filled learning environment. With that in mind, if you or your children are sick, please stay at home and watch the service on-line. Please know, this is a growing experience for us, so we may need to make changes.
It has been wonderful to gather together again and worship Jesus. We encourage you to attend church with us in-person as soon as you are able.
May God richly bless you,
The LWC Pastoral Team

Hi LWC Family –
We wanted to start with some great news. Pastor Amy is recovering well. We got back all the pathology reports from her surgery this week and they didn’t find anything malignant or concerning. Praise God! She is getting stronger every day and we are so grateful for your prayers for her quick healing.
As most of you are aware, this week Governor Polis issued a state-wide mandate requiring Coloradoans to wear masks while in public. We recognize that many are happy with this decision and many are not. It is a very polarizing issue. As pastors, we have prayed and sought God on how He wants us to handle this as a church. We recognize that any decision we make will please some and upset others. Ultimately, our desire is to please God and follow Him whole-heartedly.
As we have prayed about it, Philippians 2:3 came to mind. It tells us to “value others above yourselves.” Philippians 4:5 says, “Let everyone see that you are considerate in all you do.” As followers of Jesus, we must look out for the needs and the welfare of others. If wearing a mask has the potential to protect someone else, then we should do it to be considerate of others. I am serving them by wearing a mask.
Consequently, starting this Sunday, we will follow the Governor’s mandate and ask everyone age 10 and older to wear a mask while in the building. Please bring a mask from home. If you forget, we will have one for you. Like we said above, it is a polarizing issue. We believe the enemy wants to use this to bring division. Let’s not let him win. Let’s not let him divide us. Regardless of how you feel on this issue, can you lay down your feelings and opinions and do what is best for others (even if you don’t agree with the Governor and his mandate)?
This was a hard email to write. It was a hard decision to make. We didn’t make it without a lot prayer and counsel. We love you all and hope to see you on Sunday.
Ken and Amy

Hello Living Water Church Family,
Thank you for your prayers for Pastor Amy! Thank you for praying about her oxygen. God has restored her oxygen levels! Please continue to pray for her pain to go down and her strength to return.
Please consider signing up to take food to the Aurora South ER for our Bake N’ Take Ministry. We still have 2 weeks open in July, and August and September are completely open. Email Lisa Wright to sign up, lisa@lwcweb.org. This is the best time for the church to serve our local ER and bless them for all they are doing.
Our heart for the grocery giveaway was to bless people during the pandemic. We originally planned on giving food away for one month only. We received a small grant for food distribution and some donations to support the cost of groceries in June. We can't continue to support a weekly giveaway, but we want to continue this ministry! We plan to offer groceries one day per month. Please pray for this outreach! God is using it to reach people.
Don't forget to subscribe to our LWC kids youtube channel to check out relevant kid lessons,
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCos6HzysGcHppnKLHVaeOsg
Our services will be at 8:30 am and 10 am again this week. Please consider getting to church early so we can make accommodations for everyone. We will continue to practice social distancing, wear masks, and provide hand sanitizer, per the CDC guidelines.
We love and appreciate you all,
LWC Pastoral Staff

Hello Living Water Church Family,
Great news! Pastor Amy's surgery went well! She is in recovery now and will be able to go home today. In order to reduce the risk of being exposed to COVID19, the doctors think it's best for her to be released today. She is in some pain, but overall she is doing well. Thank you for praying. Please continue to pray for her recovery and for the whole Urban family.
It is time to sign up for our Bake n Take ministry. As you know, we've been delivering food to the Aurora South ER on Friday nights for many years. During COVID we can continue to deliver food, but it needs to be from a restaurant or store bought. To sign up for a Friday in July please contact Lisa at, lisa@lwcweb.org.
Lastly, thank you for worshiping with us in person and online. Our in person services will continue to be at 8:30 am and 10 am for now. It has been so exciting to gather together again.
We love you all,
LWC Pastoral Staff

Hello Living Water Church Family,
Thank you for worshipping with us this past Sunday! It is so uplifting to come to the House of the Lord and praise Him together. For those of you that are worshipping from home, we love you, miss you, and appreciate you. We will continue to limit the number of people in each service and distance ourselves, until instructed otherwise. Thank you for helping us adhere to these guidelines.
This past week, the church was able to hand out 100 bottles of hand sanitizer on East Colfax. Please pray that God will continue to direct us in ways to reach the community.
Lastly, we have created a separate youtube channel for our LWC Kids. We will upload one video to our kids channel each week. If you have children or if you'd like to see our kid lessons, please subscribe to the new channel. (link below)

Hello Living Water Church Family,
Here is our weekly update. We were so encouraged to see so many of you last Sunday when we re-opened the church doors! The comment that we heard the most frequently was about how much you all missed worshiping together. When we gather to sing and worship the Lord corporately, it builds up our soul and brings encouragement. So, when you are able, we encourage you to return to church.
The service times for this coming Sunday, June 14, will remain the same as last week, 8:30 and 10 am. Both times will be family services and run about an hour in length. Last week, the early service filled up fairly quickly. There were still some available seats in the sanctuary for the 2nd service. Again, it will be a first come, first served seating in the sanctuary. Please arrive early. We will have two overflow rooms as well. We will sanitize every used room before and after each service.
On a different note, God is using us to bless our neighborhood. On Mondays, we have been giving out free groceries to our community. The first week, we gave away 30 bags. This last Monday, we gave away 50 bags of groceries. Everyone receiving the gift has been open to the Lord and to prayer. We are grateful to be able to bless and serve our community in this way.
We appreciate you all,
The LWC Pastoral Staff

Hello Living Water Church Family,
We wanted to let you know about our plans for this weekend. As we share this, please be aware that the Pastoral Team has given this continual prayer as we have tried to navigate the troubled waters of the COVID Virus restrictions. From the beginning, we felt instructed by God to honor and respect our government’s decisions. As such, we intend to follow the guidelines set forth by the Colorado Department of Health.
Good news! Starting this Sunday morning, June 7, we will re-open our doors! There will be 2 services at 8:30 and 10 am. Both worship times will be family services. The nursery and the Sunday School program will not be available. To make this more manageable for families, each service will last only an hour. We encourage you to arrive early since we can only have 50 people in the sanctuary. Seating in the sanctuary will be based on a first-come, first-served basis. We will also have 2 overflow rooms available with both audio and video. Additionally, we will also have our entire service available online, which you can access through the LWC website, our YouTube Channel (LWCAurora), or through Facebook Live at 8:30 and 10:00 am.
We will follow these guidelines:
SOCIAL DISTANCING
*Practice 6 feet of social distancing.
*Sit with your own family.
*We will enter the building through the East doors, as usual. We will have people exit the building through the Information Center Room doors.
*If you want to talk with others, we encourage you to do so outside.
SANITATION
*The building will be sanitized before and after each service.
*We will have hand sanitizing stations available throughout the building. Please sanitize your hands when entering and leaving the building.
MASKS
*The Colorado Department of Health has stated that everyone should wear masks. We encourage you to bring a mask from home.
PLEASE STAY AT HOME IF:
*You are sick.
*You are in a high-risk group.
For us, this is a trial and error event. The Pastoral Team will spend time in prayer after Sunday's service and then reevaluate, making changes as necessary, and as the guidelines are altered and restrictions loosen. As always, we encourage you to BYOB – Bring Your Own Bible to church.
We love you all and are very excited to see many of you this Sunday.
The LWC Pastoral Team
Thursday, May 28, 2020
Hello Living Water Church Family,
We wanted to update you on our plans for Sunday. As many of you know, we were told late last week by the Governor’s office that guidelines for church meetings would be available early this week, and that they would go into effect immediately. As each day passed, we waited for those guidelines. Today, in a large group phone call, the Governor told us that the guidelines would not be available until next Monday. As a result, we are still limited to ten people in the sanctuary.
However, we still want to meet together this coming Sunday. To comply with the current state guidelines, we will do one outdoor drive-in service at 9 am this Sunday morning. Please practice social distancing; however, feel free to bring a lawn chair. The service will be broadcast over a radio station and through our sound system. It will be approximately one hour long.
If you are worried about your health or are a person at-risk, we encourage you to join us from home. The same service will be available online Sunday morning at 8:30 and 10:30 am through the church website, YouTube channel, and on Facebook live.
We continue to trust God through this season together.

Hello LWC Family,
We hope you are enjoying this beautiful Colorado weather! We miss seeing your smiling faces each week. Here are your weekly updates:
Don't forget that this Saturday, May 23rd at 11 am we are hosting a drive-in/parking lot celebration for our LWC Graduates! Please come and help these students celebrate this significant moment in their lives. The pastors will be directing parking. We want everyone to park in the lot, facing towards the church. (the west) We want to honor our government's recommendations and stay safe so please stay in your cars for the entire ceremony. The graduates will be called up one by one, but everyone will stay in their cars. We will have a sign hanging from the church, which will tell you what station to tune your car radio to. Pre-packaged snacks will be handed out and we will collect cards for graduates.
Also, this coming Sunday May 24th, we will take communion together. Please have some juice and bread prepared. It's not the traditional way, but we can still remember Him as we take the elements from home.
Lastly, we know many of you are eager to hear when we will be meeting in person again. We expect to have some concrete details regarding our next steps early next week. Please look for the pastoral update email next week.
We love you all and pray that each of you are well,
LWC Pastors

Hello LWC,
We miss you all so much! Thank you for continuing to participate in church online. It's been a crazy couple of months, but the Lord continues to pave the way for our church. Here are your weekly updates:
If you'd like to join Pastor Ken for Pursue God this evening at 7pm, please email Urban@lwcweb.org and you will receive a zoom invite.
We were able to join a conference call with Governor Polis this week and we don't know when we will be permitted to meet in person. We could potentially meet with a limited number of people mid to late June. We will continue to listen to the governor's instruction and update you as we go. Please continue to pray for our nation's leaders and for the church at large.
Lastly, we will be celebrating our LWC graduates May 23rd at 11 am. Not this Saturday, but next Saturday we will have a parking lot party in honor of our high school and college graduates. Everyone will stay in their cars as we call our graduates up one by one to honor them and pray for them. We hope to have the service broadcasted to your car radio! Please come support our graduates as they step into new chapters of their lives. (Tobi, James, Shealynn, Jeremy, Morgan, and Sarah.)
Bless you all in the name of Jesus,
Your Pastor Team

Hi LWC,
We want to give you a couple of updates for the church this week. Two weeks ago a small group of us drove around the University Hospital at the Fitzsimmons campus 7 times and prayed for the sick in the hospital and the medical personnel. The Holy Spirit breathed fresh life into us as a result. I would like to do it again and invite anyone to join us. At 10 am Saturday, we are going to meet in the church parking lot. Stay in your cars. I will lead a caravan of drivers promptly at 10:10. I encourage you to pray as the Lord directs you. Caleb and I prayed for a different topic each lap around the medical buildings. Also, Linda Strand suggested that we bring posters or signs to put on our cars with a faith filled message, ie. "Jesus Loves You", "We are praying for you", "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."
God is still working in and through our lives in a great way. Linda Strand shared a great example of this on the Sunday online service. If you have a testimony of how God has used you during this pandemic, please let us know. We would like to ask you to consider making a 30-60 second video to bring glory to God for what He is doing. Please make sure to record it horizontally and send it to us through Google Drive or What’sApp. (If the video is 30-60 seconds, it will be too large to email. Texting won’t work either because the video quality is so compromised.)
Finally, fathers and sons and daughters, "Go Big" this coming Sunday. It is Mother's Day. Bless your mom or your wife and encourage her. Write her a gushy letter, buy her flowers, buy her candy, serve her in a special way.
Pastor Ken

Hello LWC Family,
We hope you and your family are doing well. We have some updates we'd like to share with you. First, we hope you've enjoyed worshiping with us on Sunday mornings. In addition to our website and our YouTube channel, we will now have the Sunday service available Live on Facebook at 8:30am and 10:30am.
We just started providing videos on marriage and parenting this week. We hope these discussions and teachings will bless you and your relationships. Please check the website for these videos and look for updates on Pastor Amy's blog.
Next Thursday, May 7 is National Day of Prayer. We will have Zoom prayer from 12-1. We hope you'll join us in lifting our nation up in Jesus' name. Contact Pastor Ken at urban@LWCweb.org if you would like to be included.
Unfortunately we need to postpone VBS, but we are hopeful that it can still happen this year.
Thank you for volunteering to take food to Aurora South ER. Each Friday in May and June is covered, so thank you! Jorge and I took pizza last week and the staff was so appreciative. They seemed even more touched than usual by our efforts to bless them.
Lastly, if you have someone in your house that will graduate from high school or college this spring, can you email Melanie at mbcopela@hotmail.com to let us know?
We love you all and pray that God would pour out His presence on your households. Once again, if you find yourself in need of food or essential supplies please contact us and let us know.
Pastor Melanie Benitez

Hi Everyone –
As we have prayed for you, we felt led by the Holy Spirit to write the following. We want to encourage you to set up a specific time each Sunday morning to watch the church service with your family. For example, our family meets in the family room each Sunday morning at 8:30 am to watch the service together (even though Amy and I have already seen it). Even with the Coronavirus, Sunday is still the Lord’s Day. Since we can’t gather together, it’s easy to put off watching the service until later, and then realize that we haven’t watched it at all. But we urge you not to do that. To protect yourself and your family from enemy attacks, stay involved with church. Watch the service on Sunday mornings. This helps keep your mind on things above and not on the current crisis. It will make you less vulnerable to fear and anger – which are both common attacks from the enemy right now.
On a different note, we talked with the Aurora South Hospital Emergency Department and we are still able to take food to the staff on Friday evenings. However, the food must be purchased from a restaurant and not made at home. Our family usually picks up 3 pizzas and we deliver them to the hospital. With the current hospital restrictions, we can take the food to the entrance of the ER and hand it off to the staff from outside the building. If you would be willing to help with this, we have numerous Friday evenings that need coverage. Contact us at urban@LWCweb.org.
Don’t forget to work on our April memory verse – “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need." Hebrews 4:16 NKJV
Once again, if you need food or essential supplies, please be in contact with us and we will do everything we can to help.
We love you all,
Ken and Amy

Hi Everyone - I hope you enjoyed our Easter service yesterday. We sure missed gathering together with you. We got a lot of feedback that people loved the Easter greetings and would like to see more. Would you consider recording a greeting from you and your family and send it to us? Please record it horizontally and it should only be 5-7 seconds long. Please say your names and give some kind of "hello" to our church family. Please email them to us at TimWright@LWCweb.org or Amy@LWCweb.org by Wednesday at 5 pm. We hope to hear from you!
Once again, if you find yourself needing food or any essential items please contact us.
We love and miss you all!

4.9.2020 Hi Everyone - We wanted to let you know that we have updated our website (LWCweb.org) and have included a children's section. There are 2 videos uploaded now and we will be adding more soon. Since Sunday schools can't meet right now, we wanted to make this available to parents.
We miss you.

Hi Living Water Church Family – We want to start by saying how much we miss you. We understand in a new way why Paul wrote to the Romans, “For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to strengthen you - that is, that we may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith, both yours and mine.” Romans 1:11-12 ESV
We are continuing to do Noontime Prayer on Tues, Wed, and Thursday. If you are interested in joining us though Zoom, email us at urban@LWCweb.org and Pastor Ken will send you an invitation. If you are not comfortable with setting up Zoom on your computer or phone, we can help you with that as well. Contact Pastor Jorge at JorgeB@lwcweb.org for assistance. Cheri continues to lead Ignite Prayer on Fridays at 6:30 pm on Zoom. Contact her at cdosh@hotmail.com if you are interested in joining that prayer meeting.
We will have Pursue God Prayer tonight, Wednesday, at 7 pm via Zoom as well. Like the other prayer meetings, contact urban@LWCweb.org to receive an invitation.
Our LWC Youth Group is leading a Good Friday Service this Friday, April 10. Join us online at 7 pm. Please remember that they will lead us in taking Communion together, so if possible have your communion elements ready. And by the way, the elements don’t have to be grape juice and bread. You could use a cracker and a Coke if that is what you have available. Remember, man looks at the outward appearance but God looks at the heart. We will also take Communion together on Easter Sunday morning during our online service.
We are here to serve you, so if you are in need of food or essential items, please reach out to us and we will do all that we can to help. Also, if you need specific prayer, contact one of the pastors or email us at prayer@LWCweb.org. Will you pray for our Easter service this Sunday? Pray for God to reach many with His love and truth. Pray for Pastors Ken and Amy as they share about the truth of Easter and how Jesus’ resurrection changed everything.
We love and miss you all.

We hope you and your families are doing well.
First, thank you so much for participating in the online services we have uploaded. We apologize for the mistakes in this past Sunday's service. Please check out the website or our YouTube channel and you will find an updated video from last Sunday. We have some great news! We have decided to add lyrics to the screen as you are worshiping. We hope you'll sing and dance for the Lord from your living room this Sunday!
The church has been able to deliver food and other essentials to families in need, so thank you for your support. Please continue to pray for God to put people on your heart and reach out to them.
Also, thank you for continuing to send in your tithes and offerings. Here are the ways you can give: you can mail a check to the church, drop off a check in our mail slot on the south side of our building, or access paypal from our website. (LWCweb.org)
Remember that we are now praying over a video conference call several times a week. We pray together via Zoom on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at noon. Please contact Pastor Ken and Amy at Urban@LWCweb.org if you'd like to join us. Cheri Dosh is also leading a Zoom prayer call on Friday nights at 6:30 pm for ignite prayer. Contact her at, cdosh@hotmail.com if you want to join them.
We love and miss you so much. We are praying for you and your families and we can't wait to see you again.
Sincerely,
Your LWC Pastors

Thank you for tuning into our online services yesterday. We really missed worshiping with you in person, but it is so amazing that we can improvise with our YouTube channel. We might not be together in person but we are together by modern technology and by the power of the Holy Spirit!
We wanted to take a moment to encourage you to stay connected with your church family during this season. The best way to stay encouraged is to encourage someone else. Pray for God to bring people's names to mind and then reach out to them. We really believe God will use this time to strengthen new and old friendships. All of us play a key role in keeping the body united and encouraged.
We will continue posting devotionals and worship to the website so be on the lookout for that mid-week.
If you would like to join Pursue God this week, please contact Pastor Ken at ken@LWCweb.org and he will set you up on a group video or conference call.
If you are lacking food or daily essentials, please email Pastor Jorge at jorgeb@LWCweb.org or call the church at 303.366.0181 and one of the pastors will be in contact with you.
We are praying for you and your families. We are eager to see how God turns this for good. We love you all.

Due to the coronavirus epidemic, our government has requested that we limit public gatherings to 10 people. In honoring this request, we are not able to gather together on Sunday mornings for a while. Instead of attending church, we encourage you to watch our Sunday service with your family online at LWCweb.org. The service will be available to view each Sunday morning and will include worship, prayer, announcements, and the sermon. Also, due to the current restrictions, we need to cancel small groups that meet at the church, including youth group, the various prayer groups, men’s and women's bible study, men’s and women's breakfast, etc.
We encourage you to be in contact with the elderly in our church and in your community. They are particularly vulnerable during this season and may need help with groceries or other needs.
We love you all and will greatly miss gathering with you. We are praying for God’s presence to fill you with hope and peace. Pastors are available to pray with you and meet with you as we are able. Contact a pastor directly, or call the church office at 303-366-0181, to schedule an appointment.

At LWC, we want to assure you that public health and safety is of the highest priority to us. We are very intentional in providing a safe, clean, and sanitary environment for people to gather and worship God.
We will continue to meet on Sunday mornings and during the week for our various services unless we notify you otherwise. We will enhance our current cleaning procedures to include cleaning the sanctuary, restrooms, door knobs, handrails, water fountains, and classrooms (including toys) with disinfectant before and after each service. In addition, we encourage you to wash your hands frequently. We will also have hand sanitizer available at various stations throughout the building.
We realize that no environment can be 100% safe but we aim to be as diligent as possible in creating a sanitary place to worship. Our March memory verse is - “Trust in the Lord and do good. Then you will live safely in the land and prosper.” Psalm 37:3 NLT
